The CDRs then show Longoria was still in the City of Santa
Ana, CA for approximately 15 minutes after the shooting before leaving towards the City of Pomona, CA. The CAU
created two videos showing the mapping of Longoria's pings within a certain time period, to include the time of this
shooting. For further details please review the two videos, which I later uploaded into Evidence.com. I also attached a
screenshot of the pings after the shooting, to this supplemental report.
June 22nd, 2023
At approximately 1330 hours, I was contacted by Dante Castro's assigned Probation Officer E. Guzman, who told me
via phone that Castro had reported to the Orange County Probation office for a scheduled visit. At my request, Cpl B.
Poling #3504 and Cpl D. Garcia #3231 responded to the Orange County Probation office and took custody of Castro.
They then transported Castro and housed him in an interview room on the 3rd floor of the Santa Ana Police
Department.
1650 Hours
Det R. Sandoval and I conducted a recorded interview of Dante Castro, using our department issued body worn
cameras. This only a summary of the interview, for further details or exact statements, please review the recorded
footage, which was later uploaded into Evidence.com.
I read Castro his Miranda rights from the Santa Ana Police Department's Miranda form, verbatim. Castro admitted to
understanding his rights by stating, "yes" or "yeah" after each question. I confirmed the two suspects Castro had
previously identified was Victor Longoria and Daniel Quirino. I then showed a booking photograph of Victor Longoria,
who Castro positively identified as the suspect seated in the rear passenger seat of his vehicle.
