Narrative: Narrative <br />Wednesday, April 12, 2023, 0830 hours: <br />Santa Ana Police Department Homicide Detective J. Capacete authored a search warrant to search a 2003 GMC <br />Yukon 4 door black in color with California Lic: . The vehicle was involved in an Officer Involved Shooting <br />on Friday, April 7, 2023. The vehicle was impounded and secured at B&D Towing. The Search Warrant was granted <br />and signed by Michael Murray the Honorable Judge of the Superior Court of California, County of Orange, Central <br />Justice Center, Department C-57. <br />Thursday, April 13, 2023, 0905 hours: <br />On the above date and time, Santa Ana Police Department Crime Scene Officer G. Garcia #3251 and I went to B&D <br />Towing located at 1502 N. Susan Street in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange. <br />0925 hours: <br />We arrived at B&D Towing and made contact with Sergio Davalos DOB: 01/09/79, who opened the bay where the <br />vehicle was secured. <br />0940 hours: <br />Forensic Specialist G. Garcia began the processing of the vehicle. Before we entered the vehicle, Garcia took overall <br />pictures of the exterior of the vehicle. <br />0945 hours: <br />Forensic Specialist G. Garcia broke the first seal and photographed the interior of the vehicle. <br />0950 hours: <br />Forensic Specialist G. Garcia swabbed the steering wheel, and the gear shifter. <br />0952 hours: <br />Forensic Specialist G. Garcia swabbed the front passenger door handle. It should be noted the right rear door was <br />unable to be opened. <br />1010 hours: <br />Forensic Specialist G. Garcia collected latent fingerprints from the rear view mirror. <br />1012 hours: <br />Forensic Specialist G. Garcia located and collected a gray Samsung cell that was located on top of the center <br />console. <br />1030 hours: <br />At this time, Forensic Specialist G. Garcia and I concluded the search of the vehicle. We booth returned to Santa Ana <br />Police Department. For further details, refer to Forensic Specialist G.
