Narrative: Narrative <br />FRIDAY, APRIL 7, 2023 ± Hours: <br />Santa Ana Police Homicide Sergeant M. Sarabia #2565 notified me of an officer involved shooting that <br />occurred in Santa Ana. The incident occurred in the area of Rosewood Avenue and Bishop Street. <br />Sergeant Sarabia requested that I respond to the Santa Ana Police Department and assist with the <br />investigation. <br />2100 Hours: <br />I arrived at the Santa Ana Police Department, Homicide Section. Sergeant Sarabia briefed Homicide <br />Detectives of the preliminary investigation. <br />Sergeant Sarabia informed us that an officer involved shooting occurred at approximately 1841 hours in the <br />area of Rosewood Avenue and Bishop Street. Santa Ana Police Officers attempted a vehicle stop in the <br />area when the driver of a black GMC Yukon exited with a handgun, which lead to an officer involved <br />shooting. The officers involved were identified as Officer C. Cofer #3626 and Officer R.
