In Hula class students will learn ancient (Kahiko) and <br />modern style (Auana) hulas, the meanings of the dances, and translations of the songs. In Tahitian students are <br />taught basic Tahitian movements and an Otea (medley of rhythmic line dances) ranging from simple to complicated <br />rhythms, and movements and Aparimas (Tahitian story telling dances). A $7.00 non - refundable fee for 4 -17yrs is <br />payable to academy. <br />INSTRUCTOR: Academy of Intemational Dance Staff <br />LOCATION: Academy of International Dance, 214 N- Broadway, Santa Ana, (714) 647 -5307 <br />DAY TIME AGES <br />Fri 5:30 PM — 6:30 PM 1 O — 17yrs <br />Fri 6:30 PM — 7:30 PM 4 — 9yrs <br />Wed 7:30 PM — 8:30 PM 18 8c Up <br />2) The classes will be held on the dates and times agreed between Provider and City. <br />3) Provider will provide and be responsible for equipment, records, personnel and clean up of the <br />facilities and materials necessary to ensure the safety and effectiveness of said instruction. <br />3) If Provider allows others to teach his/her class, those teachers must be over 21, have obtained <br />and maintain an instructor rating, and be covered by Providers' insurance. Provider shall provide <br />City with documentation to verify instructor and insurance requirements. <br />CLASS SIZE <br />1) Each class must have a minimum of 1 O paid students and no more than a maximum of 25. <br />2) No registration will be accepted after the second meeting of class. <br />3) In the event the minimum number of enrollees is not realized by the second meeting of the <br />class, the class shall be canceled. Provider will be under no obligation to provide services anal the <br />City will have no obligations to pay Provider compensation <br />CLASS FEES <br />1) Each participant shall pay a $30.00 to $40.00 class registration fee per session, depending on <br />the class attended. Anticipated revenue from this class is $25,000.00. <br />9 <br />
