EXEMPT FROM FEES PURSUANT <br />TO GOVERNMENT CODE § 6103 <br />• <br />KO -3/28/10 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2010-04 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE HISTORIC RESOURCES <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING <br />HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION APPLICATION <br />NO. 2010-01 TO PLACE THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />2345 N. NORTH PARK BOULEVARD, SANTA ANA ON <br />THE HISTORICAL REGISTER AND APPROVING <br />HISTORIC REGISTER CATEGORIZATION NO. 2010-01 <br />PLACING SAID PROPERTY WITHIN THE CONTRIBUTIVE <br />CATEGORY <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Historic Resources Commission of the City ~of Santa Ana <br />hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: <br />A. On April 1, 2010, the Historic Resources Commission held a duly noticed <br />public hearing for the placement on the Santa Ana Register of Historical <br />Properties (Historic Resources Commission Application No. 2010-01) and <br />categorization (Historic Resources Commission Categorization No. 2010- <br />01) of the Gear House, located at 2345 N. North Park Boulevard, Santa <br />Ana. <br />B. The Gear House is an architecturally significant building constructed in <br />1951 and is a Colonial Revival style. The Gear House is eligible for <br />designation as contributive as it "is a good example of period architecture" <br />and "contributes to the overall character and history" of historically <br />significant Floral Park. <br />C. Character defining features include Dutch gable roof configuration, dormer <br />with wood casement windows, and chimney protruding from the cross <br />gable. <br />D. The legal owners of the subject property are Tristen and Joann Beamon. <br />E. The legal description for the subject property is attached hereto as Exhibit <br />A and incorporated by this reference as though fully set forth herein. <br />• Resolution No. 2010-04 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
