Recommended Action:
<br /> 1. Approve the Project Cost Analysis for a total estimated construction delivery cost
<br /> of $1,287,056, which includes $1,028,000 for the construction contract,
<br /> $156,256 for contract administration, inspection, and testing, and $102,800 for
<br /> unanticipated or unforeseen work.
<br /> 2. Award a construction contract to Onyx Paving Company, Inc., the lowest
<br /> responsible bidder, in accordance with the base bid in the amount of$1,028,000,
<br /> subject to change orders, for construction of the Business Area Road
<br /> Improvements at MacArthur Place from First American Way to Columbine
<br /> Avenue Project (No. 26-6700), for a term beginning April 21, 2026 and authorize
<br /> the City Manager to execute the contract.
<br /> 3. Determine that, pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act, the
<br /> recommended actions are exempt from further review. Categorical Exemption
<br /> Environmental Review No. ER-2026-21 will be filled for Project No. 26-6700.

<br /> of the Industrial Street Repair Project for Susan Street, Garry Avenue,

<br /> 1. Approve the Project Cost Analysis for a total estimated construction delivery cost
<br /> of $5,799,849, which includes $4,639,879 for the construction contract,
<br /> $695,982 for contract administration, inspection, and testing, and $463,988 for
<br /> unanticipated or unforeseen work.
<br /> 2. Award a construction contract to All American Asphalt, the lowest responsible
<br /> bidder, in accordance with the base bid in the amount of $4,639,879, subject to
<br /> change orders, for construction of the Industrial Street Repair Program Project
<br /> (No. 24-6701, 25-6701, 26-6701), for a term beginning April 21, 2026 and
<br /> authorize the City Manager to execute the contract.
<br /> 3. Determine that, pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act, the
<br /> recommended actions are exempt from further review. Categorical Exemption
<br /> Environmental Review No. ER-2026-1 will be filed for Project No. 24-6701, 26-
<br /> 6701. Categorical Exemption Environmental Review No. ER-2026-2 will be filed
<br /> for Project No. 26-6701.
