FJ 1� City of Santa Ana I First Street Multimodal Corridor <br /> Technical Memorandum <br /> Community engagement <br /> Community engagement is a key component of identifying barriers to mobility along First <br /> Street. Beginning in June 2025 and wrapping up in December2025, the outreach strategy <br /> reached over 900 participants, summarized in Figure 15. <br /> In order to achieve balanced input throughout this process, a multi-tiered outreach strategy <br /> was conducted, which included: <br /> • Broad community outreach <br /> through workshops, pop up Neighborhood <br /> events and targeted small Association <br /> meetings <br /> group meetings. L�� <br /> Community <br /> • Stakeholder engagement with Workshops <br /> both city and government <br /> officials as well as active <br /> organizations in the t)c <br /> 1 Working Group <br /> community Digital Flyers• Community working group <br /> meetings with community- <br /> based organizations who <br /> F P7 <br /> assisted with driving Community <br /> participation at the community Events <br /> events and bringing r <br /> awareness to the project. <br /> • Presentations to <br /> Neighborhood Associations Figure 15: Multi-tiered Outreach Strategy <br /> along the corridor. <br /> Information at key points in the project was disseminated through workshops and then <br /> shared with the community through on-line surveys, pop up events, videos, and <br /> presentations at stakeholder, community working group and neighborhood association <br /> meetings. The timeline for sharing information about the project is summarized in Figure 16. <br /> In this section, the results of Workshop 1 are summarized. Input from the communityfrom <br /> Workshop 2 and Workshop 3 are summarized in the Options and Concepts sections of this <br /> technical memorandum as the results align with preference surveys and input collected <br /> related during those phases of the project. <br /> 26 <br />
