1 �� City of Santa Ana I First Street Multimodal Corridor <br /> r Technical Memorandum <br /> Next Steps <br /> With the development of the three concepts, the next step in the project is to select a locally <br /> preferred alternative. In order to select that option, the following steps will be completed: <br /> • Complete the OCTAM model and assess the redistribution of traffic related to <br /> potential lane reductions and update the levels of service. <br /> • Conduct meetings with the Stakeholder Group and the Community Working Group to <br /> receive additional feedback on the three Concepts. <br /> • Present and receive direction from City Council. <br /> Once a locally preferred alternative is selected, the project team will move forward with the <br /> final engineering, feasibility study and environmental document for the corridor. Due to <br /> project funding, this phase of the project will need to be completed by December 2026. The <br /> City is currently seeking funding to finalize the engineering, prepare bid documents and <br /> construct the project; however, additional funding may be needed for construction depending <br /> upon the concept selected. <br /> 64 <br />
