SA 12‐022 <br />Investigator: ANDREW ROSS Approved By: <br />Date of Report: 10/04/12 Date:10/10/12 <br />Page 28 of 76 <br />ENRIQUEZ: Um, I believe I took two or three wide steps. <br />ROSS: Okay, okay. <br />ENRIQUEZ: You know kinda side step. <br />ROSS: A step’s approximately two and half to three feet. <br />ENRIQUEZ: Right. <br />(BACKGROUND NOISE) <br />ROSS: Okay. <br />ENRIQUEZ: So, a couple of those. <br />ROSS: Okay, so we, we’ll say eight to ten feet away from the vehicle? <br />ENRIQUEZ: I, I ࡕ <br />(TALK AT THE SAME TIME) <br />ROSS: Approximately? <br />ENRIQUEZ: ࡕ fair with saying that approximately. <br />ROSS: Okay, but in saying that, uh, once you’d  left your vehicle, where <br />was your closest cover from that point? <br />(PAUSE) <br />ENRIQUEZ: Oh, I had  no cover but my closest would be toࡕ retreat back to <br />the corner of the wall or actually running back to my car wasn’t an <br />option, because I would  lose sight of these guys. <br />ROSS: Right. <br />ENRIQUEZ: So I had no cover, I had no option, I had no position to move <br />‘cause at this point I just wanted  to observe what they were <br />doingࡕ
