She did not <br />see any portion of the shooting. <br /> was in the living room of the apartment when she heard approximately <br />eight loud bangs which she believed to be fireworks. Approximately three minutes later, her <br />daughter, came out of the back bedroom. She looked afraid. asked her <br />if she had heard the gunshots. asked her if she meant fireworks. said, “No, <br />those were gunshots.” and then looked out the window and saw that many of <br />the neighbors were outside in the courtyard looking around. did not see or hear <br />anything else related to the shooting incident. <br /> was asleep on the living room floor. She woke up to the sound of <br />approximately eight gunshots. She got up approximately five minutes later and looked out the <br />window, and saw several police officers outside. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> On July 2, 2013, I conducted a second follow-up canvass in the apartment buildings with <br />Orange County District Attorney Investigator JOHN MERCADO. MERCADO is a certified Spanish <br />language interpreter for the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.
