Santa Ana PD 2013-17495: Supplemental Report by #2770 Page 4 of 4 <br />OCSD Forensic Specialist Camacho photographed Officer S. Esquivel #3295. Officer S. Esquivel #3295 <br />was wearing a Santa Ana Police Department uniform, which had Santa Ana Police patches on both the <br />right and left sleeve. His uniform consisted of a Police Officer badge on his left breast, his name tag on <br />his right breast, Sam brown duty belt, which contained his holstered service weapon, Taser X26 serial <br />#X00-660-726, handcuff case, key holder, collapsible baton, portable radio, Oleoresin Capsicum spray <br />holder, and ammunition pouch. Officer S. Esquivel #3295 was wearing prescription glasses and his feet <br />were adorned with Black Danner boots. Officer S. Esquivel #3295 was not equipped with a back-up <br />weapon at the time of the processing. <br />Officer Esquivel did not have any injuries, nor did his uniform have any indication of wear or damage <br />caused by the incident. <br />Officer Esquivel carries a department issued Glock 21 45 caliber semi-automatic handgun with serial <br />#HA Y924. There was a Streamlight TLR-1 gun light, serial #C4-35250509 l 2, attached to the gun. He <br />carries 3 department issued gun magazines and each magazine holds 13 cartridges. On duty, the gun is <br />loaded with one cartridge in the chamber and 13 cartridges in the magazine. During the cartridge count, <br />the handgun contained one alluminum .45 caliber Winchester hollow-point cartridge in the chamber and <br />one ( l) alluminum .45 caliber Winchester hollow-point cartridge in the magazine. The two magazines <br />on the duty belt each contained 12 alluminum .45 caliber Winchester hollow-point cartridges. Each <br />cartridge had a head stamp of ·â€¢Winchester 45 S&W. <br />Forensic Specialist Laurabeth Camacho collected Officer S. Esquivel's duty weapon and magazines and <br />packaged them for further processing. For details, refer to Camacho's forensic report under FR #13- <br />48764. <br />Officer S. Esquivel #3295 was temporarily issued a duty handgun. <br />At 1306 hours, the processing of the officers was completed. <br />Investigation continues ... <br />Detective M.
