Esparza #1568 of the Santa Ana Police Department Homicide Unit. <br />He infonned me of an officer involved shooting that had just occurred and request I respond to assist with <br />the investigation. <br />11:03 <br />l arrived at the location and entered the crime scene. I checked in with Officer R. Ribiero #3224 who was <br />maintaining a crime scene personnel log. <br />11:05 <br />l was briefed by Sergeant Esparza on the circumstances surrounding the officer involved shooting. The <br />suspect was a female and transported to the hospital. He requested I respond to U.C.l. Medical Center and <br />assist Detective J. Launi # l 628 . <br />11 :30 <br />I arrived to the emergency room at UCI Medical Center and met with Detective J. Launi and Investigator <br />Page 2 of3
