Esquivel #3295 <br />Witness <br />SAPD <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />On Sunday, June 23 , 2013, at 0813 hours, I responded to the alley of 809 South Townsend, in reference <br />to an officer involved shooting that just occurred. The patrol personnel involved were Officers Ayala <br />and Esquivel. Upon arrival, Officer Esquivel immediately advised me that the involved suspect was still <br />armed and the scene needed to be secured, with a particular focus on the involved garage of 809 South <br />Townsend. I quickly gathered a search team and the garage was cleared of any additional suspects, <br />along with securing the involved suspect. <br />Soon there after, I transported Officers Ayala and Esquivel to the station for the investigative <br />process, thus staying with them until the process was completed.
