S.A. 13-017 <br />Investigator: ED WOOD Approved By: <br />Date of Report: 09/20/2013 Date: 10/30/2013 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CASE NAME: ARELLANO, HANS KEVIN <br />CLASSIFICATION: OFFICER INVOLVED SHOOTING (FATAL) <br />TYPE: AUTOPSY <br />AGENCY: SANTA ANA POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />On July 31, 2013, at approximately 0900 hours, I attended the post mortem examination <br />of HANS KEVIN ARELLANO, at the Orange County Sheriff-Coroner Forensic Science Center, <br />located at 1071 Santa Ana Boulevard, Santa Ana. Prior to the autopsy, I met with all involved <br />personnel to discuss the circumstances surrounding AYALA’s death. The following personnel <br />attended the meeting and autopsy: <br />• ARUNA SINGHANIA Orange County Forensic Pathologist <br />• ALANA HOESCH Orange County Forensic Assistant <br />• ARIANA FIGUEROA Orange County Forensic Scientist <br />• LAURABETH CAMACHO Orange County Forensic Specialist <br />• DOMINGO CABRERA Santa Ana Police Detective <br />Following the meeting, the autopsy was conducted by Doctor ARUNA SINGHANIA. <br />Orange County Forensic Specialist LAURABETH CAMACHO photographed the autopsy, while <br />Orange County Forensic Scientist ARIANA FIGUEROA collected physical evidence under FR # 13- <br />50719. <br />At approximately 0910 hours, as the autopsy began, I observed a white body bag which <br />was sealed with a Coroner’s body bag tag. ARELLANO’s body was removed from the body bag. <br />Once the body bag was removed, I observed the following on the body: <br />ORANGE COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY’S OFFICE <br />BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION <br />SUPPLEMENTAL REPORT
