CONKLIN Approved By: <br />Date of Report: August 7, 2013 Date: 08/07/2013 <br />Page 1 of 1 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CASE NAME: ARELLANO, HANS KEVIN <br />CLASSIFICATION: OFFICER INVOLVED SHOOTING (FATAL) <br />TYPE: INITIAL RESPONSE <br />AGENCY: SANTA ANA POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />On Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at approximately 1518 hours, Orange County District Attorney <br />Supervising Investigator MARK GUTIERREZ contacted me regarding an officer involved shooting <br />incident involving the Santa Ana Police Department. GUTIERREZ requested I respond to 622 <br />South Harbor Boulevard, in the city of Santa Ana, and assist with the investigation. <br />At 1612 hours, I arrived at the incident location and met with investigators from the <br />Orange County District Attorney’s Office (OCDA), and from the Santa Ana Police Department <br />(SAPD), who were present to assist in the investigation. <br />At 1631 hours, Santa Ana Police Acting-Sergeant OLIVER GRANT conducted a briefing of <br />the known circumstances surrounding the incident for the personnel involved in the <br />investigation. <br />Following the briefing, GUTIERREZ assigned SAPD Detective CLINT ACHZIGER and I to <br />conduct witness interviews.
