13-017 <br />Investigator: DEAN FULCHER Approved By: <br />Date of Report: 07/31/13 Date: 08/01/2013 <br />Page 1 of 1 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CASE NAME: ARRELLANO, HANS KEVIN <br />CLASSIFICATION: OFFICER INVOLVED SHOOTING (FATAL) <br />TYPE: INITIAL RESPONSE <br />AGENCY: SANTA ANA POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> On Tuesday, July 20, 2012, at approximately 1518 hours, Orange County District Attorney <br />(OCDA) Supervising Investigator MARK GUTIERREZ contacted me regarding an officer involved shooting <br />incident involving the Santa Ana Police Department (SAPD). GUTIERREZ requested I respond to the area <br />of 622 South Harbor Boulevard, in the city of Santa Ana, and assist with the investigation. <br /> At approximately 1610 hours, I arrived at the incident location and met with investigators from <br />the OCDA and from the SAPD, who were present to assist with the investigation. <br /> At 1631 hours, SAPD Acting Sergeant OLIVER GRANT conducted a briefing of the known <br />circumstances surrounding the incident for the personnel involved in the investigation. <br /> Following the briefing, GUTIERREZ requested SAPD Detective GUS MOROYOQUI, OCDA <br />Investigator BILLY HESTER, and I supervise the processing of the scene by Orange County Crime Lab <br />Personnel. <br /> At 1648 hours GRANT relinquished the Orange County Fire Authority Pre-Hospital Care Report <br />and electrocardiogram strip to me. <br /> At 2025 hours, I left the crime scene and control of the scene was turned over to SAPD <br />personnel. <br />ORANGE COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY’S OFFICE <br />BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION <br />SUPPLEMENTAL REPORT
