He’s not complying, he’s continuing in <br />aggressive, you know, manner, and that’s the only-, I can only backup so much, <br />otherwise, um, I’m not looking behind me I’m keeping my eyes straight in front <br />of me at him. <br />ALVAREZ: Um, we-, you know, we’ve all received training on our, on, on shooting and <br />everything, and based on your time as a police officer and everything, um, have <br />you ever heard that it’s, uh, you know, backing up when your weapon is out, <br />walking backwards while your weapon is out pointed in front of you, you know, <br />that’s not the best, uh, thing to do, that it, it, you know, it would, it might make <br />it not a, uh, your shooting stance and everything as effective if you needed to <br />use your weapon. Have you ever heard-, are you familiar with that concept? <br />GUIDRY: No. No. <br />ALVAREZ: No? <br />GUIDRY: I just-, I’m-, my focus was him.
