EXHIBIT 3 <br /> EXTERNSHIP <br /> In order to obtain employment as a Medical Assistant need to complete 160 hours of hands-on <br /> work experience in the field. After you successful completed the first 16 weeks of training, <br /> Hope Builders will match you with a clinical site where you will complete a 4-week, 160-hour <br /> externship. This externship is unpaid, and you will not receive a stipend during this time. This is <br /> your chance to impress the employer and show them you're ready to work. Here's some of <br /> what you'll need to do: <br /> Grow your Work Experience Complete 160-hours of clinical experience over 4- <br /> weeks <br /> • Turn in your weekly time report through an <br /> approved <br /> method <br /> • Communicate with the Employment Services team <br /> at <br /> Hope Builders at least weekly <br /> Maintain Reliable Attendance • Be on-time <br /> • Come to work every day as scheduled <br /> • Communicate with your employer ahead of time <br /> Take the next step to ensure If you received your permit in the first 12 weeks, get a <br /> Reliable Transportation driver's license. <br /> If you have your driver's license, work with Hope <br /> Builders to set up a savings plan to own your own <br /> vehicle some day! <br /> During your externship, we will rely on feedback from your Field Supervisor at your assigned job <br /> site to evaluate you. The goal is to ensure you have the skills and experience to prepare you for <br /> employment and job placement. <br />
