b. Employment Readiness Specialist/Coordinator makes contact and will assess for <br /> commitment. <br /> c. If they are committed to CR support Employment Readiness <br /> Specialist/Coordinator will notify Employment Readiness Manager, open an <br /> action plan and move forward. <br /> d. Employment Readiness Manager will remove them from inactive status in <br /> Apricot. <br /> e. For those trainees that have obtained a career pathway job on their own in the <br /> CR phase, Employment Readiness Specialist/Coordinator will assess if trainee <br /> has attained the requirements needed: <br /> i. Gather employment information to update Employment Record and <br /> confirm job meets career pathway requirements <br /> ✓ Start Date: <br /> ✓ Company Name: <br /> ✓ Company Address: <br /> ✓ Position: <br /> ✓ Pay Rate: <br /> ✓ Hours per week: <br /> ✓ Benefits: <br /> ✓ Temporary or Permanent: <br /> ✓ Placement Method: Self, HB Assisted or HBCC <br /> ii. A Career Pathway job: A middle-skill position in an industry where HB <br /> provides training, ensuring long-term employability, and opportunities for <br /> advancement within the organization. <br /> ✓ It must also offer competitive earnings of$18.50/hr. or more <br /> (adjusted annually and at least $2/hr. above minimum wage) OR <br /> be full-time, averaging at least 30 hours per week. <br /> f. If a participant meets Career Pathway requirements listed above update their <br /> Employment Record in Apricot. <br /> a. Employment Readiness Specialist/Coordinator will create a case note with <br /> the following information <br /> ✓ Employment Readiness Specialist/Coordinator updated <br /> employment record <br /> ✓ Employment Readiness Specialist/Coordinator assessed <br /> participant meets Career Pathway requirements <br /> ✓ Employment Readiness Specialist/Coordinator communicated & <br /> noted importance of answering all contacts made by HBCC <br /> ✓ Employment Readiness Specialist/Coordinator will trigger <br /> Employment Readiness Manager on case note <br /> b. For participants who meet the career pathway requirements and are in <br /> that position for a minimum of 6 months will be moved to the CB phase by <br /> Employment Readiness Manager as they have met full impact. <br /> 25 <br />
