EXHIBIT 1 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2026-XX <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING THE CITY'S <br /> STATEMENT OF INVESTMENT POLICY 2026-2027 <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. The City Council of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines and <br /> declares as follows: <br /> A. California Government Code §53646, provides that each city may <br /> have a written statement of investment policy to govern investment <br /> of the City's monies. <br /> B. Pursuant to §53646, the City Treasurer shall annually submit a <br /> Statement of Investment Policy for City Council consideration. <br /> C. The City Treasurer has submitted the attached Statement of <br /> Investment Policy to this Council at its regular meeting of June <br /> 16, 2026, for its consideration. <br /> Section 2. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana has duly considered <br /> and approves the City's Statement of Investment Policy submitted by the City <br /> Treasurer. <br /> Section 3. The City Treasurer shall submit quarterly reports to the City <br /> Council stating all investments made in the preceding quarter and that such <br /> investments have been made in conformance with the City's investment policy. <br /> Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption <br /> by the City Council, and the City Clerk shall attest to and certify the vote adopting <br /> this Resolution. <br /> ADOPTED this day of 12026. <br /> Valerie Amezcua <br /> Mayor <br /> Resolution No. 2026-XX <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
