also noted a police vehicle travelling northbound in the west alleyway associated with 1800 <br />S. Evergreen Street. By mention of this vehicle, I believed to be speaking of the <br />SAPD GSU vehicle occupied by Det. Cpl. Alcala and Det. Bodnar. As neared his <br />apartment complex, now standing in front of 1818 S. Evergreen Street, he heard <br />approximately three (3) to four (4) gunshots. Immediately after hearing these shots, <br />saw the aforementioned OCPD vehicle halt it¶s progression and proceed, in reverse, toward <br />his position. As they neared, heard approximately two (2) to three (3) additional <br />gunshots. Upon focusing his attention toward the above-indicated alleyway, heard <br />the sound of a commotion consistent with persons yelling and observed police officers <br />detaining an unknown individual who was dressed in black clothing and lying on the ground. <br /> was able to identify the officers, furthermore, by their uniform vests and flashlights. <br />By mention of these officers, I believed to be speaking of at least Det. Solorio. <br />Subsequent to this detention, saw the officers providing medical aid to their detainee <br />who was screaming in pain. By mention of this detainee, I believed to be speaking of <br />Alvarado. <br />While he never witnessed either shooting, assumed that the officers and their <br />detainee exchanged gunfire prior to the detention. Soon after witnessing said detention, <br /> was himself contacted at gunpoint by DPO Ibarra and DPO Pinto and subsequently <br />detained/handcuffed. described the lighting in the area at the time of the incident to <br />be extremely dark. <br />At approximately 0123 hours, we concluded our interview with Corcio. <br />Investigation continues « <br />Detective M.
