Set Public Hearing For_ <br />CONTINUED TO <br />FILE NUMBER <br />Approve an appropriation adjustment recognizing revenues from the State of California in the <br />amount of $13,442 in 15% (ARRA) Incentive Award funds for the Workforce Investment Act <br />programs. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The State of California has awarded two Incentive Awards to the Santa Ana Workforce Investment <br />Board (WIB) for exceeding performance goals in Program Year 2007-08 and 2008-09. Although <br />the funds are from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and must comply with <br />ARRA regulations, they are not limited to use in the ARRA program. These funds will be used to <br />cover miscellaneous expenses for the WIB. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Upon approval of the appropriation adjustment, funds will be available in the ARRA Admin - <br />Professional Contractual Services account (no. 12318758-62300). <br />APPROVED AS TO FUNDS AND ACCOUNTS: <br />Cynthia J.
