■ As previously reported, the City exceeded five -year housing goals for renter households <br />122% goal attainment rate); however, owners housing goals fall short of goals (42% goal <br />attainment rates) — overall the City met 71.5% five -year housing goals. For 2009 -2010 the <br />combined single - family and multi - family housing activities exceeded planned goals <br />(assistance for 80 units planned versus 228 units assisted) — renter housing programs <br />exceeded planned goals (560 %); however, owner housing programs did not meet planned <br />goals (71.1% goal attainment rate). <br />■ With respe ublrnned ices, during the 2009 -2010 report period, activities funded with <br />CDBG fell jus goals. Combined, service providers met 99.8% of planned <br />goals. <br />■ As ExHiBiTs 4 and 6 indicate, some planned community improvement activities met or <br />exceeded five -year goals. These activities include the purchase of fire suppression <br />equipment and street and park improvements. Activities delineated in the Consolidated <br />Plan that did not meet five -year goals include flood drain improvement, youth center, and <br />street light projects. A handful of activities have become problematic and have required <br />staff scrutiny and additional oversight. For the 2009 -2010 report period, as outlined above, <br />Rebuilding Together did not serve any households. Additionally, no activities for CDBG <br />34 08/24/2010 <br />
