■ The City addressed the social service needs of the community. CDBG- funded public <br />services are key component of the City's strategy to reduce the number of families living at <br />or below poverty. During the report period, services were provided to 3,351 youths. Youth <br />services included education and after - school recreation /education programs. Home <br />delivered and congregate site meal programs served 1,447 Santa Ana senior citizens. <br />B. ADDI funds were not awarded to the City in 09 -10; however, the City used prior year allocations to assist 3 homebuyers during 09 -10. <br />2. The City was awarded $900,000 by the State of California for the 08 -09 report period; however due to the state's budget shortfalls <br />funding was placed on hold. Funds have recently been released and will be available to the City during the 2010 -2011 program year. <br />3. Actual represents value of owner -paid improvements to properties resulting from code enforcement actions. <br />■ Program Income: The City of Santa Ana received CDBG program income totaling $51,543 <br />during the report period generated by housing and commercial rehab loan repayments. <br />These funds were utilized to fund additional eligible CDBG activities.
