During the 2009 -2010 report period, the City continued its efforts to address the priority <br />housing and community needs identified in the 2005 -2009 Consolidated Plan. For example, <br />the City's supply of affordable housing was expanded and upgraded during the report period. <br />Funding from various federal, state and local sources was used to complete the rehabilitation <br />of 28 owner- occupied housing units.2 During the report period, a Community Housing <br />Development Organization (CHDO) also received HOME and local redevelopment funding to <br />assist with the rehabilitation of rental- housing units — 196 units w e completed during the <br />2009 -2010 report period. Three homebuyers accessed the Am Dream Downpayment <br />Initiative - funded homebuyer program.
