13. MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS <br />a. AVT covenants that it presently has no interest, and shall not have any interest, <br />direct or indirect, which would conflict in any manner with the performance of services <br />required hereunder. <br />b. AVT certifies that it will not discriminate against any employee or applicant <br />for employment because of race, religious creed, color, national origin, ancestry, physical <br />disability, mental disability, medical condition, martial status, sex or age, in compliance <br />with Government Code 12900, et seq. AVT agrees to take affirmative action to insure <br />that applicants are employed, and that employees are treated during employment, without <br />regard to their race, religious creed, color, national origin, ancestry, physical disability, <br />mental disability, medical condition, marital status, sex or age. <br />c. The invalidity in whole or in part of any provision of this_ Agreement shall not <br />void or affect the validity of any other provision of this Agreement. <br />d.
