8. Outline of On-the-Job Training Plan and Method of Assessment: <br />ELEMENTS OF TRAINING HOURS OF TRAINING <br />1. Trainee will be taught safety and security procedures, including knowledge 320 <br />of relevant equipment and strategies to promote safe operations. Training in <br />production and warehouse inventory will be provided, including but not limited <br />to: <br />- Custom injection molding of plastics <br />- Understanding the designs and uses of a variety of machines and tools <br />involved in injection molding manufacturing. <br />Measurement Method: Q & A, task observation and inspection. Goal is to achieve rate <br />of proficiency within first Month and a half of training. <br />2. Direct the overall manufacturing facility of a plastic injection molding <br />business <br />- Ensure that customer order are scheduled, produced and shipped on time 300 <br />- Control manufacturing labor and material efficiencies, expenses and <br />overhead <br />- Manage plant resources to meet operations objectives <br />- Work with vendors to specify/order raw materials and packaging <br />Measurement Method: Q & A, task observation and inspection. Goal is to achieve rate <br />of proficiency within subsequent three and a half months. <br />3. Standard & engineering grade resins <br /> 300 <br />- Secondary operations including sonic welding, <br />- Silk screening, hot stamping, pad printing, assembly, <br />- Long & short runs, decorating, medical. <br />- Using 30-350 ton presses. <br />Measurement Method: Q & A task observation and inspection. Goal is to achieve rate of <br />proficiency within subsequent three and a half months. <br />4. Use ISO Standards <br />- Meet established safety and quality standards, including OSHA 120 <br />- Maintain manufacturing equipment <br />Coordinate production shutdowns and start ups and production scheduling <br />Measurement Method: Q & A task observation and inspection. Goal is to achieve rate of <br />proficiency within subsequent three and a half months.
