HUD requires Housing ~uthox~ities to screen all applicants for drug- related and v~.olent criminal activity, and for lifet~.~ne see offender } . registration. National credit Reporting has a proven hitor~r with the Housing uthor,ity and has provided reliable information in a t~.mely manner via its web-based ser~rice at a compet~.tive cost. In dune ~~D~, National Credit Reporting's perfor~ance and rates were compared with two , other vendors National Tenant Network and Ar~.erioan Tenant screening} and, because of its Buick turnaround and competitive rates, was selected to provide these services. Intake of applicants from the wait list has been substantially increased and has resulted in one hundred percent voucher utilizat~.on a of December X007.
