Commission discussion ensued regarding recommendation for green wall <br />enhancement on Alton Court to prevent graffiti. <br />MOTION: Recommend that the City Council: <br />1. Approve and adopt the Mitigated Negative Declaration and <br /> Mitigation Monitoring Program, Environmental Review No. <br /> 2007-37. <br />2. Adopt an ordinance approving Amendment Application No. <br /> 2007-02 and Specific Development No. 81. <br />3. Adopt a resolution approving Tentative Tract Map No. 2007-04 <br /> (County Map No. 17071). The Planning Commission modified <br /> Planning Condition No. 2 of Exhibit 11, that CC&Rs shall include a <br /> provision banning front yard and side fences and front porch <br /> railings except as shown in plans or elevations submitted by the <br /> applicant in conjunction with the approval of the tentative tract <br /> map. <br />4. Adopt a resolution approving Site Plan Review No. 2007-02 as <br /> conditioned. Staff Comments <br />Mr. Trevino informed the Commission that Planning Manager Haluza was absent <br />due to illness. He commented on the Santa Ana Renaissance Specific Plan <br />(SARSP) that is scheduled for the public on October 3; and provided timelines for <br />the draft Environmental Impact Report and Planning Commission public hearing. <br />Mr. Trevino indicated that the SARSP updates are available on the city website. <br />4. Planning Commission Comments <br />Commissioner Alderete <br />• Requested status on the relocation of the Twist Basler House. <br />• Requested an update on the mobile advertising along the 55 Freeway. <br />Vice Chair De La Torre conveyed condolences to Vince Fregoso for his departed <br />father-in-law. <br />5. Excuse of Absences <br />Commissioner Mill made a motion to excuse the absences of Commissioners <br />Gartner and Leo. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Betancourt and <br />unanimously approved by the Commission. <br />6.
