Planning Commission Comments <br />Commissioner Gartner <br />• Met with applicant Jamison Luther (Variance Nos. 2007-07 and 2007-08) <br />and provided architectural design photos for his review for the project at <br />711 Eastside Avenue, <br />Commissioner Betancourt <br />• Received a sketch of a contemporary design for architecture for the <br />project at 711 Eastside Avenue from Commissioner Gartner. <br />Vic Chair De La Torre <br />• Thanked Commissioners for their input regarding the landscaping <br />guidelines. <br />Commissioner Mill <br />• Commented on being educationally enlightened as a representative to the <br />Historic Resources Commission. <br />• Commented on the dedication of the Chepas Park and the pending <br />artwork for the sign. Mr. Mill will forward the sign artwork to the <br />Commissioners. Mr. Kaufman stated approval would be at the Parks & <br />Recreation Board. <br />Commissioner Munoz <br />• Thanked Commission for excusing his absence and looks forward to <br />working with Commissioner Betancourt on the Ad Hoc Committee. <br />Chair Leo <br />• Requested updates on Main Place and Caribou Industries-One Broadway <br />Plaza projects. <br />• Recommended discussion regarding City graffiti programs. <br />4.
