• <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2007-32 <br />bk: 8/23/07 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING <br />NEIGHBORHOOD PROJECT REVIEW NO. 2007-14 <br />TO PERMIT THE REHABILITATION OF THE FRONT <br />PORCH AT 810 NORTH FRENCH STREET. <br />LOCATED IN SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT 19 ZONE <br />(SD-19) (FRENCH PARK) <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana hereby <br />finds, determines and declares as follows: <br />A. The property owner is requesting approval of Neighborhood Project <br />Review No. 2007-14 to permit the rehabilitation of the front porch at <br />810 North French Street. located in Specific Development 19 Zone <br />(SD-19) (French Park) <br />• B. The applicant is proposing the repair of one-inch by four-inch <br />clapboard siding for the porch railings, which has been damaged by <br />termite and moisture, and rehabilitation of the front porch. The <br />ornate porch trim associated with the porch railing and columns are <br />proposed to be repaired and remain in place. <br />C. The French Park Architectural Review Committee reviewed and <br />commented on the project and has found that the repairs are <br />consistent with the historic character of the neighborhood. <br />D. Santa Ana Municipal Code Section 41-593.5(c) requires the <br />Planning Commission to review all plans within a Specific <br />Development Plan area to ensure that the project is in conformity <br />with the approved Specific Development. <br />E. On August 27, 2007, the Planning Commission conducted the <br />necessary review pursuant to Santa Ana Municipal Code Section <br />41-593.5(c). <br />F. After considering all of the evidence submitted, the Planning <br />Commission finds and determines that Neighborhood Project <br />Review No. 2007-14 is consistent with both the French Park Design <br />Guidelines and the Citywide Design Guidelines in regards to <br />• architectural style and method of operation. <br />Resolution No. 2007-32 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
