• RESOLUTION NO. 2006-30 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING SITE PLAN REVIEW NO. <br />2006-08 TO UPGRADE THE EXISTING 70-FOOT HIGH <br />READER BOARD SIGN WITH A NEW READER BOARD AND <br />CLADDING AT 1507 AUTO MALL DRIVE WHICH IS WITHIN <br />SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT N0.60 (SD-60) <br />KO- 11 /7/06 <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission does hereby find, determine and declare <br />as follows: <br />A. The Applicant is requesting approval to upgrade the existing 70-foot high <br />reader board sign with a new reader board and cladding that will replace the <br />existing sign at 1507 Auto Mall Drive which is within Specific Development <br />No. 60 (SD-60) zoning district. <br />B. Section 41-593.5(c) of the Santa Ana Municipal Code requires a review by <br />the Planning Commission of all plans within a specific development plan <br />area to ensure the project is in conformity with the Specific Plan. <br />C. Site Plan Review No. 2006-08 came before the Planning Commission of the <br />City of Santa Ana on November 13, 2006. <br />D. The project is in compliance with atl applicable development standards <br />outlined within the Specific Development Plan (SD-60). <br />E. This project was reviewed in accordance with the guidelines for the <br />California Environmental Quality Act. The recommendation is exempt from <br />further review pursuant to Section 15302(b). This Class 2 exemption allows <br />the replacement or reconstruction of existing structures and facilities where <br />the new structure will be located on the same site as the structure replaced <br />and have substantially the same purpose and capacity as the structure <br />replaced. Categorical Exemption Environmental Review No. 2006-178 will <br />be filed for this project. <br />Section 2. The Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana hereby <br />approves Site Plan Review No. 2006-08 as conditioned in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2006-30 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
