INSURANCE ` _E <br />WORK MAY <br />CLEMK 0I1� "UNCII_ <br />of_�T DATE; OCT 2 1 2010 <br />A-2007-242-03 <br />THIRD AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT <br />THIS THIRD AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is entered into on September <br />30, 2010, by and between Joseph La Rosa ("Consultant") and the City of Santa Ana, a <br />charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"). <br />RECITALS: <br />A. The parties entered into Agreement A-2007-242, dated November 5, 2007, <br />(hereinafter "said Agreement") by which Consultant has provided asset forfeiture <br />services. <br />B. The parties entered into a First Amendment to Agreement A-2007-242-01, dated <br />September 30, 2008, by which the parties agreed to renew said Agreement for an <br />additional one-year period through September 30, 2009. <br />C. The parties entered into a Second Amendment to Agreement A-2007-242-02, dated <br />October 1, 2009, by which parties agreed to renew said Agreement for an additional <br />one-year period through September 30, 2010. <br />D. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to <br />renew said Agreement for another additional one-year period and add compensation <br />to pay for services during the extended term. <br />WHEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and <br />subject to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this <br />Second Amendment to Agreement, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. Section 2.a. COMPENSATION, shall be amended such that the total sum to be paid <br />for services under this Agreement shall not exceed $24,000 during the extended term, <br />October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011, of said Agreement. <br />2. Section 3, TERM, shall be amended to extend the termination date one year, from <br />September 30, 2010, through September 30, 2011. <br />3. Except as herein amended, all terms and conditions of said Agreement shall remain in <br />full force and effect. <br />// <br />
