• Koo-11 /12/03 RESOLUTION NO. 2003-45 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING NEIGHBORHOOD PROJECT REVIEW NO. 2003-11 TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A RESIDENTIAL ADDITION TO AN EXISTING SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENCE AT 335 SOUTH GARNSEY STREET IN THE SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT 40 (SD-40) ZONING DISTRICT (HENINGER PARK) BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: A. The applicant is proposing to construct a 315 square foot addition to the rear elevation of an existing single-family residence located at 335 South Garnsey Street in the Specific Development 40 (SD-40) Zoning District • (Heninger Park). The project will involve the addition of a bedroom, bathroom and laundry room. 2. The addition will be constructed to reflect the existing 1920s Craftsman Bungalow style architecture. B. The Heninger Park Site Review Committee has reviewed the proposed construction and approved the project as proposed. C. Santa Ana Municipal Code Section 41-593.5(c) requires the Planning Commission to review all plans within a Specific Development Plan area to ensure that the project is in conformity with the approved Specific Development. D. The Planning Commission after considering all of the evidence submitted, finds and determines that Neighborhood Project Review No. 2003-11 project is consistent with the Heninger Park Architectural Design Guidelines and complies with the Heninger Park zoning provisions. E. In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, the proposed project is exempt from further review.
