C7 <br />kdo/01 /17/03 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003-03 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT NO. 2002-32 FOR A GAS STATION/MINI- <br />MARKET AND CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2002-31 <br />TO OPERATE BETWEEN MIDNIGHT AND 5:00 A.M. FOR <br />THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3801 SOUTH BRISTOL <br />STREET <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, <br />determines and declares as follows: <br />A. The Mitigated Negative Declaration and Mitigation Monitoring Program, <br />Environmental Review No. 2002-070, Conditional Use Permit No. 2002-32 <br />and Conditional Use Permit No. 2002-31 came before the Planning <br />Commission of the City of Santa Ana for a duly noticed public hearing on <br />• January 27, 2002. <br />B. Conditional Use Permit No. 2002-32 has been filed with the City of Santa <br />Ana seeking to allow the operation of a gas station/mini-market within the <br />Commercial Residential (CR) zoning district. Pursuant to Santa Ana <br />Municipal Code Section 41-442.5(b) for service stations integrated into <br />larger development sites are subject to the issuance of a Conditional Use <br />Permit. <br />Santa Ana Municipal Code Section 41-638 authorizes the Planning <br />Commission to grant a conditional use permit upon making certain <br />findings. <br />Will the proposed use provide a service or facility which will <br />contribute to the general well being of the neighborhood or <br />community? <br />The proposed service station and mini-mart will <br />contribute to the general well being of the community <br />by providing gasoline and food service to commuters, <br />individuals who work in the area, and motorists <br />traveling along South Bristol Street. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2003-03 <br />Page 1 of 6 <br />
