For reference, KIPP provides <br />instructors and Instruction for the TLO Basic and Intermediate courses in the <br />seven-county JRIC (Joint Regional Intelligence Center) region that includes <br />Orange County and the Anaheim-Santa Ana Urban Area as the JRIC region's <br />TLO training vendor, and KIPP was competitively selected for this contract by the <br />Anaheim-Santa Ana Urban Area. The TLO Basic is an eight-hour block of <br />instruction covered in one day, and the TLO Intermediate is a twenty-four hour <br />block of instruction covered over three days. The TLO Basic normally has a <br />maximum of sixty (60) students, and the TLO Intermediate normally has a <br />maximum of forty (40) students. <br />KIPP's price for all ten TLO Basic courses and six TLO Intermediate courses is <br />$154,380.00. This includes instructors, student materials and all venue related <br />costs. Each TLO Basic course is priced at $4950.00 and each TLO Intermediate <br />at $16980.00, with $3000 added for general instructional material support for this <br />training program, for a total of $154,380.00. KIPP will invoice at the completion <br />of each course, and invoice for the $3000 additional for general instructional <br />material support in the first invoice. <br />KIPP will coordinate with the Anaheim-Santa Ana Urban Area on the venue in <br />order to provide audiovisual equipment (projector and laptop) and student <br />materials as mutually determined.
