<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> fully as if set forth at length herein as provided for in section 419 of the Charter of the <br /> city, except for the changes to the property maintenance code set forth in this chapter of <br /> this Code that specifically amends the property maintenance code. Any previously <br /> enacted, unrepealed provision of this Code that amended a pre-2009 edition of the <br /> "Property Maintenance Code" shall also be construed as amending the applicable <br /> provision of the 2009 or later edition of the property maintenance code. The property <br /> maintenance code, as thus amended, together with all other provisions of this article, <br /> shall be known as the city property maintenance code. <br /> <br /> (a) Section 302.8 of the Property Maintenance Code is amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> 302.8 Motor vehicles. Except as provided for in other regulations, no <br /> inoperative or unlicensed motor vehicle shall be parked, kept or stored on <br /> any premises, unless within an enclosed structure, and no vehicle shall at <br /> any time be in a state of major disassembly, disrepair, or in the process of <br /> being stripped or dismantled. Painting of vehicles is prohibited unless <br /> conducted inside an approved spray booth. Occupancy of any motor <br /> vehicle for the purpose of living, sleeping, eating or cooking shall only <br /> III occur within an approved trailer park. <br /> <br /> Exception: A vehicle of an <br /> any type is permitted to undergo major overhaul, <br /> including body work, provided that such work is performed inside a <br /> structure or similarly enclosed area designed and approved for such <br /> purposes. When auto repairs or maintenance occur on a property used for <br /> residential occupancy, only vehicles registered to the premises may <br /> undergo such repairs or maintenance. <br /> (b) Section 304.3 of the Property Maintenance Code is amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> [F] 304.3 Premises identification. Buildings shall have approved address <br /> numbers placed in a position to be plainly legible and visible from the <br /> street or road fronting the property. These numbers shall contrast with <br /> their background. Numbers shall be a minimum of 4 inches (102 mm). <br /> <br /> (c) Section 304.14 of the Property Maintenance Code is amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> 304.14 Insect screens. Every door, window and other outside opening <br /> required for ventilation of habitable rooms, food preparation areas, food <br /> service areas or any areas where products to be included or utilized in <br /> food for human consumption are processed, manufactured, packaged or <br /> stored shall be supplied with approved tightly fitting screens of not less <br /> than 16 mesh per inch (16 mesh per 25 mm), and every screen door used <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Ordinance No. NS-XXXX <br /> 11A-19 Page 19 of 43 <br />
