Commissioner Leo <br />• Requested an update on the Court of Appeal. Mr. Kaufman provided <br />information. <br />• Requested City Place retailer/commercial update. Mr. Trevino provided <br />information. <br />• Suggested monitoring traffic at Orange County Schools of the Arts and EI Sol. <br />• Commented on SB153 regarding specific monies for the Santa Ana River to <br />add green space. He said that sale of Anaheim land will provide additional <br />revenue. <br />• Commented that he would like to see continued participation of neighborhood <br />associations in working to solve issues of concern. <br />• Indicated that serving with Chairman Mondo was an honor. <br />Commissioner Cribb <br />Requested graffiti removal at Ramona & MacArthur on the northwest corner. <br />Requested Code Enforcement verification of trailer parked at 2409 North <br />Spurgeon. <br />Thanked Chair Mondo and indicated he had been most effective and <br />influential for the City of Santa Ana for many years in his capacity as Planning <br />Commissioner. <br />Commissioner De La Torre <br />Thanked staff for a doing great job with projects presented tonight. <br />Wished Chairman Mondo good luck and thanked him for his many years <br />of service as a Commissioner. <br />Chairman Mondo <br />• Requested the clean up of the Home Depot sidewalks; recommended that <br />City enforce or amend the ordinance east of MacArthur to coincide with <br />similar restrictions given to the Fourth Street and South Bristol merchants. <br />• Suggested contacting Cal Trans, indicated that the surrounding area has a <br />lot of debris to clean up on the northbound 55 Freeway/MacArthur <br />interchange which is regarded as the entry to Santa Ana. <br />• Requested an update on the Law Library regarding the completion of the <br />expansion and fountains. <br />• Expressed his gratitude for serving on the Commission since his <br />appointment in 1990, he served with 25 planning commissioners, five <br />executive directors, three city attorneys, three former council members <br />(Commissioner Lutz being one). He stated that school board member Rob <br />Richardson and former Mayor Dan Young got him involved with the City. <br />He also thanked staff for their efforts. He stated he will be assigned to the <br />Orange County Courthouse in Santa Ana. <br />10. Excuse of Absences <br />11.
