EHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />The City of Santa Ana Parks &c Recreation will contract Roberto Del Hoyo (independent <br />muralist) to develop and complete two mural projects in the City of Santa Ana, one will be at <br />Memorial Park and the other at Santiago Park. The Memorial site will include the entire outdoor <br />stage building and panels. The project at Santiago Park is underneath the 22 freeway on the east <br />side of the park. The assignment includes but is not limited to: <br />• The time frame will be 4 — 6 weeks to complete both murals at Memorial Park and <br />Santiago Park <br />Two projects <br />1. Memorial Park Mural Project at the outdoor stage (to include the two panels) &c <br />the entire building. <br />2. Santiago Park mural will be completed in Roberto Del Hoyo's studio on canvass <br />and attached to the existing wooden panels underneath Main St. Bridge at <br />Santiago Park. The mural will be painted on a transparent polyester mesh. Once <br />complete, the mural will be permanently applied to the wall using a polymer gel <br />sealant. After the sealant is dry and mural is on the wall, additional painting will <br />be necessary in order to make the painting seamless. <br />• The cost of $13,300.00 will include all supplies and materials for completion of both <br />projects. A Deposit of $2,500 is required upon execution of agreement; $5,400 due upon <br />completion of 50% of work as determined by Community Services Supervisor; final <br />payment of $5,400 due upon completion of & installation of both mural projects after <br />inspection and acceptance by PRCSA Executive Director or his designee. <br />• City staffwill organize one community meeting prior to finalizing the mural artwork to <br />meet with the artist. The artist will gather community input to help develop a draft of art <br />work <br />• The final artwork &z color scheme must be approved by the Executive Director of Parks, <br />Recreation and Community Services Agency and/or his designee before work <br />commences. <br />• The City of Santa Ana will recruit volunteers from the local neighborhood association, <br />local churches and schools to assist with the project, and be mentored by the muralist, to <br />complete the project. <br />
