COMMISSIONER COMMUNICATION DISCLOSURE (REGARDING AGENDIZED PROJECTS) <br />Commissioner Cribb disclosed a conversation with David DiRienzo regarding Santiago <br />Lofts. <br />Commissioner Lutz and Vice Chairman Cribb disclosed telephone messages from Pam <br />Sapetto; though they were not able to return the calls. <br />Chairman Nalle disclosed a telephone conversation with Pam Sapetto. <br />Commissioner Mondo disclosed a telephone call from Pam Sapetto, though he indicated he <br />had not reviewed her application. <br />E. APPEAL OF THE PLANNING MANAGER'S DECISION N0.2003-08 (Pedro Guillen) <br />(Continued by the Planning Commission on December 22, 2003 to January 72, 2004) <br />Filed by Brett T. Griffiths to appeal the Planning Manager's decision to not allow a solar <br />panel facing the public street at 1147 West Riviera Drive. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Deny Appeal of the Planning Manager's Decision No. 2003-08. <br />Pedro Guillen presented the staff report and recommendation. <br />Commissioner Sinclair noted her support for Mr. Griffiths' recommendations. <br />Commissioner Lutz asked to review option to locate panels in back of applicant's yard and <br />noted that he cannot support project because of the precedence it may establish. <br />1 <br />Commissioner Nalle noted a concern that this appeal could establish a precedent. <br />Commissioner De La Torre inquired about the rebate issue.
