AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO.2002-06 <br />Filed by Goodwill Industries to re-zone an 11-acre parcel from Heavy Industrial (M2) and <br />Light Industrial (M1) to SD-70 (Specific Development Number 70) in order to <br />accommodate a 66,400 square foot expansion of office, retail, and warehouse uses at <br />410 N. Approve and certify Mitigated Negative Declaration and Mitigation Monitoring <br />Program, Environmental Review No. 00-147. <br />2. Adopt an ordinance approving Amendment Application No. 2002-06. <br />Verny Carvajal, Assistant Planner II, presented the staff report and recommendation. <br />Vice Chair Verino opened the public hearing. <br />Randy Taylor, Goodwill Industries Director, spoke in support of project. <br />Phillip Schwartze, Project Planner, spoke in support and provided a brief history of the <br />project. <br />Commissioner Cribb noted he would like to see additional vertical landscaping that <br />would go over the wall between the proposed development and the mobile home park as <br />a complimentary view for the residents <br />1 <br />Vice Chair Verino closed the public hearing. <br />Motion to recommend that the City Council: <br />1. Approve and certify Mitigated Negative Declaration and Mitigation Monitoring <br />Program, Environmental Review No. 00-147. <br />2. Adopt an ordinance approving Amendment Application No. 2002-06. <br />3.
