• The proposed helistop is not expected to have any detrimental <br />affects on persons living or working in the area. Although the <br />proposed facility is near a major airport, the helistop has received <br />all necessary approvals from the Federal Aviation Administration <br />and Orange County Airport Land Use Commission to operate. <br />F. Will the proposed use adversely affect the present economic stability or <br />future economic development of property in the surrounding area? <br />The proposed helistop, which is an ancillary service that will be <br />utilized a maximum of three times per week, is not anticipated to <br />have any negative or detrimental impacts on the economic viability <br />of the surrounding area. The helistop will be located on top of an <br />existing building and should not impact the operations of the Auto <br />Mall. <br />G. Will the proposed use comply with the regulations and conditions specified <br />in the chapter of the Santa Ana Municipal Code for such use? <br />As conditioned, the helistop will comply with all regulations and <br />conditions specified in the Santa Ana Municipal Code, the Federal <br />Aviation Administration and the Orange County Airport Land Use <br />Commission. <br />• H. Will the proposed use affect the General Plan of the City? <br />The proposed facility will not pose any adverse affects on the <br />General Plan designation of Industrial (IND). The proposed <br />helistop is permitted in the district subject to approval of a <br />conditional use permit. <br />Section 2. The Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana after conducting <br />the public hearing hereby approves and adopts the Mitigated Negative Declaration and <br />the Mitigation Monitoring Program for Environmental Review No. 01-118. <br />Section 3.
