• <br />RESOLUTION NO. 01-42 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING VARIANCE NO. 2001-06 <br />IN PART TO ALLOW A SECONDARY WALL SIGNAGE BUT <br />DENYING NON-CONFORMING MONUMENT SIGNS AT <br />THE TARGET STORE LOCATED AT 1330 EAST <br />SEVENTEENTH STREET <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission does hereby find, determine and declare as <br />follows: <br />A. Variance No. 2001-06 has been filed with the City of Santa <br />Ana seeking to allow a secondary wall sign on the primary elevation of a Target <br />store and to allow two non-conforming monument signs to remain on the property <br />located at 1330 East Seventeenth Street. <br />• B. Santa Ana Municipal Code Section 41-638 authorizes the <br />Planning Commission to grant a variance upon making certain findings. <br />C. The Planning Commission held a duly noticed public hearing on <br />September 24, 2001, for Variance No. 2001-06. <br />Section 2. The Planning Commission approves Variance No. 2001-06 in part to <br />allow secondary wall signage as conditioned in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein. <br />Section 3. The Planning Commission denies Variance No. 2001-06 in part to <br />allow non-conforming monument signs. <br />Section 4. The Planning Commission makes and adopts the written findings of <br />fact attached hereto as Exhibit "B" and incorporated herein, in rendering its decision to <br />approve in part and deny in part Variance No. 2001-06. <br />ADOPTED this 24th day of September , 2001 by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners: Cribb, Doughty, Leo, Mondo, Nalle, Richardson (6) <br />NOES: Commissioners: None (0) <br />ABSENT: Commissioners: Verino (1) <br />• ABSTENTIONS: Commissioners: None (0) <br />
