RESOLUTION NO. 01-32 <br />Page 4 <br />• <br />EXHIBIT "B" <br />FINDINGS OF FACT FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2001-18 <br />A. Will the proposed use provide a service or facility which will contribute to the <br />general well being of the neighborhood or the community? <br />The proposed two-story accessory structure will contribute to the general <br />well being of the neighborhood by providing off-street parking spaces to <br />the residence. <br />B. Will the proposed use under the circumstances of the particular case be <br />detrimental to the health, safety, or general welfare of persons residing or <br />working in the vicinity? <br />The two-story accessory structure proposed is designed to comply with <br />the city's design and development standards for such facilities, which will <br />not be detrimental to the health, safety or general welfare of persons <br />residing or working in the vicinity. <br />• <br />C. Will the proposed use adversely affect the present economic stability or future <br />economic development of properties surrounding the area? <br />The proposed project meets the City's development standards for atwo- <br />story accessory structure. The site is currently occupied by a single- <br />family dwelling and a detached two-car garage. The proposed use of the <br />property is consistent with the surrounding area. The proposed two-story <br />accessory structure is in conformance with the City's requirements and <br />will help the economic stability of the area. <br />D. Will the proposed use comply with the regulations and conditions specified in <br />Chapter 41 for such use? <br />The proposed two-story accessory structure meets the City's <br />development standards for the type of use proposed. Specifically, <br />setbacks, parking stall size, and the width and length of the driveway are <br />in compliance with code. <br />G <br />E. Will the proposed use adversely affect the General Plan or any specific plan of <br />the City? <br />The proposed two-story accessory structure is designed to be compatible <br />with the surrounding environment, which will not adversely affect the <br />General Plan and is consistent with the goals and objectives of the Low <br />Density Residential General Plan designation. <br />
