Bus Bays <br /> • Bus bays 1, 2, 3 and 10 are used by the Orange County Transit Authority. <br /> • Bus bay 4 is designated for Crucero. <br /> • Bus bays 5 and 6 are designated for Greyhound Lines. <br /> <br /> • Bus bays 7 and 8 are designated for Transportes Intercalifornias. <br /> • Bus bay 9 is designated for Tres Estrellas de Oro. <br /> • All authorized buses must park in their assigned bus bays. <br /> • No other bus companies are authorized to use the bus bays. <br /> <br /> J. Use of the Public Address System (PA) <br /> The PA System is available for use by security officers, if required. Always use the PA system in a <br /> professional manner. <br /> <br /> K. Breaks <br /> Each shift is allocated two (2) fifteen- (15-) minute breaks and a half- (1/2-) hour meal period. This time is <br /> for eating, using the facilities, and to conduct personal business. However, the security officer is still on duty <br /> and must respond to all calls. The only designated resting area is the security room. The post commander <br /> will determine when breaks will be taken. <br /> <br /> L. Pertinent Information <br /> • High visibility must be maintained. <br /> • Constant visible patrol is required. <br /> <br /> • Security officers are to be primarily outside of the building. Hourly patrols of the interior of the building <br /> are required. <br /> • When two security officers are on duty, they should never be together unless a situation requires it. <br /> <br /> SHIFT OUTLINE <br /> <br /> IS' Shift - Midnight to 8:00 a.m. <br /> • On first tour patrol, check all vehicles for break-ins, etc., and report findings in DAR. <br /> • Maintain outside surveillance. <br /> • Perform tour patrols every hour, stopping at each designated location. <br /> • Lock facility at midnight. Turn off all designated lights. <br /> • Be available to meet incoming trains and buses to assist patrons who may have parked in the parking <br /> structure. <br /> • Concentrate on outside patrols to remove loiterers and all unauthorized individuals from the property (after <br /> midnight). <br /> <br /> • Check all exterior doors of facility and parking structure to make sure they are locked. <br /> • Unlock facility at 5:00 a.m. daily. Turn on all designated lights. <br /> • Raise flags at dawn unless rain is imminent. <br /> • On last tour patrol, check all vehicles for break-ins, etc., and report findings in DAR. <br /> • Pass on any important information to next shift. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 25B-8 <br />
