Cilywide Engineering & Traffic Survey Introduction /Project Organization <br />INTRODUCTION <br />Albert Grover & Associates (AGA) possesses all of the necessary qualifications and <br />experience required to successfully complete the Engineering and Traffic Survey Project <br />proposed by the City of Santa Ana. We fully understand the importance to the City of <br />establishing and justifying the speed limits within the City, of collecting and analyzing <br />various traffic operational data, and of providing a computerized data base of this <br />information in a timely fashion. Staff of AGA have successfully completed many projects <br />similar to the project proposed herein. We realize the importance of the current project to <br />the City and the importance of our completing the project on time and in a manner that <br />meets all the requirements of the City. <br />AGA is a California corporation, having been incorporated in 1993. The company is <br />owned by Mr. Albert L. Grover, P.E., T.E. <br />PROJECT ORGANIZATION <br />The project organization is as shown in Figure 1. The Project Manager for this project <br />will be Mr. Mark H. Miller, P.E. He will be assisted by Mr. Mike Evans, Senior Design <br />Engineer and Mr. Ruben Perales, Transportation Engineering Associate. The <br />subconsultant for this project will be Transportation Studies, Inc. (TSI), who will conduct <br />the radar speed surveys. <br />All project team members, including the subconsultant, will work as a team and will <br />apply their administrative and technical abilities to the fullest extent to achieve the <br />objectives of the project. A brief summary of the qualifications of key members of the <br />team is given below: <br />Mark H. Miller: Executive Vice President of AGA, Mr. Miller will be the Project <br />Manager for conducting this study. Prior to joining AGA, Mr. Miller was the Vice <br />President/Senior Traffic Engineer at Mohle, Grover & Associates, where he served as the <br />Project Manager for the Cities of Cerritos, La Habra and Cypress Speed Zone Surveys. In <br />addition to being AGA's Project Manager for the previous Santa Ana Speed Survey <br />Projects, Mr. Miller also served as Principal -in- Charge and/or Project Manager for <br />AGA's Speed Zone Survey Projects in the Cities of Santa Fe Springs, Ontario, Buena <br />Park, Lancaster, Palm Springs, Santa Clarita, Santa Monica, and Fountain Valley. All of <br />these surveys were completed on -time and within budget. Additionally, Mr. Miller <br />previously was the City Traffic Engineer for the City of Pomona and Assistant Engineer <br />(Traffic) for the City of Pasadena.
