Set Public Hearing For_ <br />CONTINUED TO <br />FILE NUMBER <br />Renew the contract with Orange County Auto Parts for the purchase of miscellaneous automotive <br />parts for a one-year period in the annual amount not to exceed $50,000. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The Fleet Maintenance Division of the Finance and Management Services Agency requires <br />automotive parts to maintain the City's extensive fleet. Vehicle parts are purchased and stocked on- <br />hand in a 1300 category inventory at the Corporate Yard Fleet Facility. Non-stock items are ordered <br />on an as-needed basis. <br />On March 2, 2009, the City Council awarded a contract to Orange County Auto Parts for a one-year <br />period with provisions for two one-year renewals. The vendor has performed satisfactorily during the <br />past contract period and has agreed to renew the contract without an increase in pricing.
