• The granting of the setback variance will allow the applicant <br />the ability to expand the headquarters function of the business <br />whsle continuing to allow the use of the rear area as a storage <br />facility. <br />3. That the granting of a variance will not be materially detrimental to the <br />public welfare or injurious to surrounding property. <br />The variance for the street setback will not be detrimental to <br />the surrounding area as the setback will be landscaped to be <br />compatible with the setbacks of the surrounding buildings. <br />Additionally, the setback slopes away from the street and will <br />be minimally visible to persons traveling on Segerstrom <br />Avenue. <br />4. That the granting of a variance will not adversely affect the General <br />Plan of the City. <br />The granting of the variance will not adversely affect the City's <br />General Plan in any way as the land use designation of <br />Industrial (IND) allows the construction of ancillary office uses <br />in conjunction with permitted industrial uses. <br />• Section 2.
