~J <br />kdo/1 /23/02 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 00-24 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO MODIFY <br />CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL FOR CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT NO. 99-17 FOR A PROFESSIONAL <br />TRADE SCHOOL USE LOCATED AT 3601 WEST <br />SUNFLOWER AVENUE <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, <br />determines and declares as follows: <br />A. On August 16, 1999 the City Council, at the recommendation of the <br />Planning Commission, approved Conditional Use Permit No. 99-17 <br />subject to certain conditions of approval for the project located at 3601 <br />West Sunflower Avenue. <br />B. The Applicant has requested modifications to the conditions of approval <br />• for Conditional Use Permit No. 99-17. Specifically, applicant requests <br />modifications to the plan to allow for a different species of tree to be used <br />in the parking lot area and for a reduction in the number and redistribution <br />of palm trees in the entry point locations. <br />C. The Planning Commission held a duly noticed public hearing on June 19, <br />2000 to consider modifications to the conditions of approval for <br />Conditional Use Permit No. 99-17. <br />D. In accordance with California Environmental Quality Act, the proposed <br />action as been determined to be adequately evaluated in the previously <br />prepared negative declaration. <br /> <br />Section 2. The Planning Commission hereby approves the modifications to the <br />conditions of approval for Conditional Use Permit No. 99-17.
