Set Public Hearing For <br /> CONTINUED TO <br /> r <br /> FILE NUMBER <br /> CITY NAGER <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTION <br /> <br /> <br /> Renew the contract with Orange County Auto Parts for the purchase of miscellaneous automotive <br /> parts for a one-year period in the annual amount not to exceed $50,000. <br /> <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> <br /> The Fleet Maintenance Division of the Finance and Management Services Agency requires <br /> automotive parts to maintain the City's extensive fleet. Vehicle parts are purchased and stocked on- <br /> hand in a 1300 category inventory at the Corporate Yard Fleet Facility. Non-stock items are ordered <br /> on an as-needed basis. <br /> On March 2, 2009, the City Council awarded a contract to Orange County Auto Parts for a one-year <br /> period with provisions for two one-year renewals. The vendor has performed satisfactorily during the <br /> past contract period and has agreed to renew the contract without an increase in pricing.
